2021.10.26 08:04 sjsw02 i5-11400 vs 11400F Need Integrated Graphics or not?
Hi guys, looking at parts to build a PC in the coming weeks, and based on budget, am looking to get an i5-11500/11400 OR 11400F as CPU.
11400F is a fair bit cheaper without iGPU, so I would like to know if there are any real benefits of having iGPU. I think it's nice to have iGPU in case my discrete one fails, and I can still work on the PC without having to buy a new one. I heard it benefits Quicktime processing if you're into graphics work but I don't use those programs so it's probably not applicable in my case.
I also feel like having iGPU will lessen the load on the discrete if I'm just idle or doing light work, but if you have a decently strong GPU e.g. Radeon RX 6600XT, would this matter? Will it have to stress 24/7 and perhaps have its lifespan shortened?
Thanks for all help!

2021.10.26 08:04 H25azbxwyz Prince Charles warns of narrow window to face climate change

Prince Charles issued a warning to the world days before leaders gather in the U.K. for crucial United Nations climate talks, saying there is a “dangerously narrow” window to tackle global warning
The heir to the British throne said Saturday that the summit, which starts Oct. 31 in Glasgow, showed that “after far too long, ” climate change and biodiversity loss are at last “of paramount importance to the world.”
In a recorded message to the Saudi Green Initiative Forum, 72-year-old Charles — a long-time environmentalist — said the coronavirus pandemic “has highlighted that human health, planetary health and economic health are fundamentally interconnected.”
“We now have a dangerously narrow window of opportunity in which to accelerate a green recovery, while laying the foundations for a sustainable future, ” he said.
Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s biggest oil producers, says it aims to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2060. China and Russia have set the same net-zero date, while the United States, the European Union and Britain are aiming for 2050.
Representatives of around 200 countries will gather in Scotland at the end of the month for the two-week U.N. climate conference, known as COP26. Organizers say it is one of the last chances to nail down carbon-cutting promises that can keep global warming within manageable limits.
Alok Sharma, the British official serving as COP26 president, said getting countries to do enough to keep warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels — the goal agreed on at a summit in Paris in 2015 — would be “really tough.”
Current emissions-slashing commitments aren’t enough, and major polluters including China and India have yet to submit new carbon-cutting plans for the next decade.
“It was brilliant, what they did in Paris, it was a framework agreement, a lot of the detailed rules were left for the future, ” Shar(...)

2021.10.26 08:04 Lunaria_rediviva Does hormonal birth control make the Symptoms of PCOS worse for anyone else?
Hello, I'm 20F and got diagnosed with PCOS at age 15 because of my strong period cramps and a high level of androgens in my blood. I lost 25 kg ( around 55 lbs) through a lower-carb diet and that helped with a lot of my symptoms. Now because I got in my first relationship, I wanted to take birth control to avoid getting pregnant. Here's the Catch my pain is coming back and my hair is starting to get thinner again. So has anyone else Symptoms gotten worse whilst taking birth control? If it's important I also have hypothyroidism, but my bloodwork is good and I'm taking the right amount of levothyroxine. Ps. Sorry for my bad English and thank you for your answers

2021.10.26 08:04 kemicalken Copy, past and move down one row VBA with Command Button.
I want a command button to copy data in a row into a row below and then move down one cell. The idea is to create a table of data but by only needing to enter data into the same cells and hit a button that will paste it into the table.
Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
Dim xSheet As Worksheet
Set xSheet = ActiveSheet
If xSheet.Name <> "Definitions" And xSheet.Name <> "fx" And xSheet.Name <> "Needs" Then
xSheet.Range("B12:M12").PasteSpecial Paste:=xlValues, Operation:=xlNone, SkipBlanks:=False, Transpose:=False
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
Works fine but i cant work out how to make it move down into the next row once there is already data inside these cells. Basically all i need is the code to make it move down a row once the data is pasted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2021.10.26 08:04 ChronicContrition Can someone explain how adding fiber makes carbs into not carbs?
A manufacturer has a product with 10g of wheat based carbohydrate, then adds 10g of fiber and ~voila~ zero net carbs. To me, the 10g of carbohydrate is still there, just with added fiber. Can someone explain to me how such a product is “keto friendly”? It seems I could have a nice sandwich and chase it with a handful of Metamucil to the same effect.

Long time without posting so restarting with a trivial question...
I would love wandering the old kingdom of Eregion. From Rivendel to the gates of Khazad-Dum. Wild nature, ruins of long lost elves... Just incredible IMO.
Have a nice day! :)
